2017 Sauvignon Blanc, Huis Vineyard, Temecula Valley                    $26 or wine club $20.80

Produced from the fruit sourced from the Huis Vineyard, in the Temecula Valley, and planted completely in the highly prized Musque Clone of Sauvignon Blanc, we feel this is an exceptional example of this classic varietal.  Offering intense aromatics of grapefruit, citrus, minerals and notes of grass, this quintessential Sauvignon Blanc is the perfect wine to pair with salads, chicken and seafood dishes.  SILVER MEDAL, 2017 TOAST OF THE COAST WINE COMPETITION!

2017 Viognier, Summit Vineyard, Temecula Valley                    $25 or wine club $20.00

Originally from the Rhone Valley in Southern France, the fruit for this wine as sourced from Summit Vineyard in the Temecula Valley.  With amazing floral and tropical aromas, this wine is perfect to while away a warm afternoon on our patio.

2017 Chardonnay, Emerald Creek Vineyard, Warner Springs                    $27 or wine club $21.60                                  

Produced using fruit sourced from Emerald Creek near Warner Springs.  This elegant wine shows notes of tart green apple, citrus, and tropical fruit all framed nicely by just a hint of oak.  Enjoy alone or with salads, seafood, or chicken dishes.

2016 Muscat Canelli, Central Coast                    $25 or wine club $20.00

For all of our sweet wine lovers, our first Muscat Canelli! This classic Muscat exhibits distinctive aromas and flavors of apricot and peach all accented by subtle hints of sweet grapefruit and green apple.  Enjoy alone or with spicy foods.

2016 Dolcezza, ESTATE GROWN APPLE WINE                    $24 or wine club $19.80

Produced entirely from estate grown apples, this elegant, delicious apple wine is sure to be a crowd pleaser.  Almost completely dry, bursting with apple notes, this delicious apple wine has been a long time favorite of visitors to our winery.  It is the perfect wine for sipping on a warm summer day.

 

Rose Wine

2016 Rose of Zinfandel, Ponte Winery, Temecula Valley                      SALE $12 a bottle or $98 a case

Don't let the pink color fool you, this is not White Zinfandel!  Completely dry, this elegant, nuanced wine displays notes of strawberry, watermelon, cherry and subtle spice.  Perfect for sipping on a warm afternoon, either alone, with cheese, or with spicy Mexican or Thai dishes. Enjoy the taste of summer!

Red Wines

2016 Carignan, McCormick Ranch, Pauma Valley                    $38 or wine club $30.40

Carignan is a red Spanish/French wine grape variety that is widely planted throughout the Mediterranean and around the globe.  This lively, interesting wine offers notes of red fruit, violet on the nose, and raspberry, plum, and spice on the pallet, all accented by subtle tannic structure.  We love this distinctive and unique wine, and hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

2016 Sangiovese, Orfila/Stoplight Vineyard, San Diego County                    $30 or wine club $24.00

Sangiovese is the primary grape of Italy's Chianti and Tuscany regions.  The fruit for this wine comes to us from two vineyards; one in the San Pasquel Valley outside Escondido and the second is east of Ramona. Aged just over one year in American and French oak, this classic Sangiovese displays notes of strawberry, spice on the nose, with sour cherry and red fruit on the palate.  This medium bodied wine is perfect to pair with spicy pasta dishes or Italian classics like lasagna.  SILVER MEDAL, 2017 TOAST OF THE COAST WINE COMPETITION!

2016 Syrah, Orfila Vineyard, San Diego County                    $32 or wine club $25.60

Sourced from  one of our favorite vineyards; Orfila Vineyards in the San Pasqual Valley, this rich, full-bodied classic Syrah bursts with notes of blackberry, cherry, and smoke.  Aged for just over 1 year in European and French Oak, this wine pairs perfectly for grilled meats, stews, and lamb.  

2016 Old Vine Zinfandel, Lopez Ranch, Cucamonga Valley                    $34 or wine club $27.20

At one time the Cucamonga Valley near Ontario was the largest grape growing region in California.  Now only a few vineyards remain, including the historic Lopez Ranch planted in 1918.  We are extremely proud to work with fruit from this historic dry-farmed ancient vineyard.  With notes of red fruit, spice and soft tannins, this classic Zinfandel shows why every effort should be made to save this rapidly disappearing historic vineyard.  SILVER MEDAL, TOAST OF THE COAST WINE COMPETITION!

Native to the Rioja in Southern Spain, Tempranillo thrives in the warm sunshine of Southern California.  This wine displays notes of leather, pepper, spice and intense berry fruit and is the perfect complement to your next BBQ.

2013 Cabernet Sauvignon                                  SOLD OUT

Our 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from one of the most spectacular vineyards in Southern California located at 2,400 feet elevation in coastal foothills west of Temecula.  With rich volcanic soil and views across the Temecula Valley to the eastern mountains, this impressive site produces amazingly full bodied wines.  Bursting with red fruit and cherry, backed by French and Eastern European oak, this elegant classic Cab is well suited for aging with its long lingering finish and full tannic structure. 

 

Dessert Wines

2016 Estate Pommier, APPLE                                 $24 or wine club $19.20

Produced entirely from estate grown apples, this interesting port style dessert wine has been a mainstay of our Julian tasting room for many years.  Delightfully sweet, this wine is meant to be enjoyed as an after dinner aperitif.
