2022 Chardonnay, Emerald Creek Vineyard, San Diego County sold out Produced using fruit sourced from Emerald Creek Vineyard near Warner Springs, this elegant wine shows tart green apple, citrus, and tropical fruit all framed nicely by just a hint of oak. Enjoy alone, with salads, seafood, or chicken dishes.

2023 Sauvignon Blanc, Halter Ranch Vineyard, Temecula Valley $30 or wine club $24.00 Sourced from the Halter Ranch Vineyard in the Temecula Valley (ironically, our former vineyard). We feel this is an exceptional example of this classic varietal. Offering intense aromatics of grapefruit, citrus and just a hint of grassiness, this is a beautiful Sauvignon Blanc. Enjoy with seafood, salads and chicken dishes.  

Rose Wine

2022 Grenache Rose, McCormick Ranch Vineyard, San Diego County sold out Patterned after the classic Roses of the Provence region of Southern France, this subtle, delicate Rose is completely dry with elegant, nuanced notes of strawberry, watermelon, and cherry. Subtly spiced, this wine is perfect for sipping on a warm afternoon, either alone, with cheese, spicy Mexican or Thai dishes. Enjoy the taste of summer!

Red Wines

2020 Grenache, McCormick Ranch Vineyard, San Diego County $34 or wine club $27.20 Grenache grows widely throughout the Mediterranean, with extensive plantings in the Rhone and throughout Spain. Medium bodied, busting with strawberry, raspberry and subtle spice, this delicate, pretty wine should be consumed young, drink within the next two years.

2019 Barbera, Los Suenos Vineyard, Temecula Valley sold out Barbera, from Piedmont in Northern Italy, thrives in the warm sunshine of Southern California. Medium bodied, with notes of berry, cherry, and plum, this is a classic example of the quintessential Italian varietal.

2020 Old Vine Zinfandel, Lopez Ranch, Cucamonga Valley $40 or wine club $32.00 At one time the Cucamonga Valley near Ontario was the largest grape growing region in California. Now only a few vineyards remain, including the historic Lopez Ranch planted in 1918. We are extremely proud to work with fruit from this historic dry farmed ancient vineyard. With notes of red fruit, spice, and soft tannins, this classic Zinfandel shows why every effort should be made to save this rapidly disappearing historic vineyard.

2019 Cabernet Sauvignon, Emerald Creek Vineyard, San Diego County $42 or wine club $33.60 The fruit for this wine comes from the Emerald Creek Vineyard, located in the mountains east of Palomar Mountain. Aged over 2 years in European and French Oak , this is a classic Cabernet Sauvignon. With typical notes of black current, hints of green bell pepper, mint, and spice., this distinctive, full bodied wine is suitable for extended aging.

2018 Meritage, Emerald Creek Vineyard, San Diego County sold out 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc, 15% Malbec. Our version of a typical Bordeaux blend, all from one high elevation vineyard. Aromas include classic green olive, black current, berry, and spice. This wine is very age worthy.

2019 Malbec, Emerald Creek Vineyard, San Diego County $44 or wine club $35.20 We love Malbec grown in this high elevation vineyard located behind Palomar Mountain in North Eastern San Diego County. With classic Malbec characteristics of violet, dried herbs, blackberry, plum and spice, this is a beautiful wine. Drinkable now, this will certainly benefit from some careful bottle aging.

2019 Sangiovese, Emerald Creek Vineyard, San Diego County $38 or wine club $30.40 Sangiovese, the primary grape of Chianti and Tuscany, thrives in the warm sunshine of Northern San Diego County. With classic notes of sour cherry, plum, hints of vanilla, and bright acidity, this is the perfect wine to pair with pasta dishes or pizza. Salud!

2020 Carignan, McCormick Ranch Vineyard, San Diego County $36 or wine club $28.80 Carignan is a red Spanish-French wine grape variety that is widely planted throughout the Mediterranean and around the globe. This lively wine offers notes of red fruit and violet on the nose with raspberry, plum, and spice on the pallet, all accented by subtle tannic structure. We love this distinctive and different wine, and hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

2019 Diego Red, 50% Sangiovese, 50% Barbera, South Coast sold out This slightly unconventional blend of these 2 Italian varietals is a longtime favorite with our customers. Medium bodied with notes of sour cherry, plum, strawberry, smoke, and subtle spice notes with medium acidity, this wine pairs perfectly with tomato-based pasta dishes or pizza.

2019 Syrah, Emerald Creek Vineyard, San Pasquel Valley $38 or wine club $$30.40 Sourced from one of our favorite vineyards, Emerald Creek Vineyard, this vineyard is located in the mountains of Eastern San Diego County, north of Warner Springs. This rich, full-bodied, classic Syrah bursts with notes of blackberry, cherry, and smoke. Aged for just over one year in European and French oak, this wine pairs perfectly with grilled meats, stews, and lamb.

2019 Merlot, Emerald Creek Vineyard, San Diego County $42 or wine club $33.60 Merlot, native to the Bordeaux Region of France, grows widely throughout the world. This full-bodied red has hints of plum, raspberry, strawberry, and slight notes of green pepper. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

2020 Cabernet Franc, Emerald Creek Vineyard, San Diego County $42 or wine club $32.00 Cabernet Franc, which originates in the Bordeaux and is an ancient ancestor to Cabernet Sauvignon, is typically used as a blending grape in France. Our 100% Cabernet Franc is full-bodied, showing typical Cabernet Franc characteristics of green olive, raspberry and black current with a slightly tannic finish. Enjoy with stews, meat dishes and BBQ.
